C-TRAN
personnel strive to make each passengers ride a pleasant and safe trip.
Drivers are well trained to operate the buses safely. All
windows and roof hatches are emergency exits; each bus has a fire extinguisher.
All buses are in radio communication with the C-TRAN dispatcher.
We request our passengers always keep safety in mind at all times when
boarding, riding and exiting the buses.
Plan
Determine your departure and your destination point, then locate the bus
route nearest to them. If you're not familiar with which bus route you
need, you can click here to view
Route Schedules or call Customer Service at 770-472-8800. We will
be glad to assist you in determining the route you need to take and any
transfer(s) that you may need. Feel free to ask questions. Make sure to
have a pen and paper to write down your instructions when you call.

Board
Arrive
a few minutes early and wait at the designated bus stop sign. Look for
the blue and black bus that identify C-TRAN stops, stations and
vehicles. Check the route name and number sign above the front of the
bus windshield to make sure it is the correct route. Signal to the driver
that you wish to board.
Let
exiting passengers off and elderly and disabled board before you board.
Fare
A single $1.50 fare covers one-way bus trips, including transfers in C-TRAN
routes or to MARTA rail to complete your one-way trip. Cash fare of correct
change required may be dropped into the fare box or, slide your weekly
or monthly Transcard through the electronic card reader. Ask the driver
for transfers when you board.
C-TRAN issues Half-Fare Passes for senior citizens and disabled riders. The Card allows you to travel at half the regular fare at all times, but you must pay your share in cash. In addition to the C-TRAN Half-Fare pass, Medicare cards and other forms of picture identification are acceptable. Medicare care holders are eligible for Half-Fare also.

C-TRAN routes: Airport Station, Kelly @ Mt. Zion (across Mt. Zion
from Southlake Mall), Justice Center, Mt Zion Rd at Southlake Parkway,
Lamar Hutcheson at Valley Hill, Upper Riverdale btwn Lamar Hutcheson & Hwy 85, and Flint River at Tara Blvd.
Between
C-TRAN and MARTA: Airport Station (bus to rail) - both 501 and 503
with MARTA rail Forest Parkway @ West - C-TRAN Route 501.
Transfer
Policy: C-TRAN TRANSFERS WILL NOT BE HONORED AS ONE WAY FARE ON
C-TRAN From MARTA rail to C-TRAN bus, request a rail to bus
transfer before boarding the rail. When using a MARTA transcard,
a transfer will not be issued and the transcard can be used as a
transfer at the Airport Station and Forest Parkway/West ONLY. From
a C-TRAN bus to MARTA rail, request a bus to rail transfer from
the operator. This transfer will be valid at the Airport Station
ONLY and will remain in the farebox upon entry.
